I’m Kirby, the grower behind Forest Manor Farms—a soil-based urban microfarm using organic practices on the east side of Indianapolis.

On about a third of an acre, I grow heirloom tomatoes, shishito peppers, onions, seasonal vegetables, specialty flowers, and microgreens. Everything is grown in small batches and harvested by hand, with close attention to soil health, plant spacing, airflow, timing, and the practical systems that make quality repeatable.

Forest Manor Farms is proof that you don’t need acres of land to grow good food. The goal is to build a productive neighborhood farm where food, flowers, community, and a sustainable livelihood can grow together—without shortcuts or mass production.
